Magdalena Eriksröd-Burger studied psychology and Slavic studies at Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg, where she subsequently worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Slavic Art and Cultural Studies. Since April 2023, she has been working in the Public Science department at OeAD – Agency for Education and Internationalization – and also works as a cultural manager and mediator. She is particularly interested in artistic and cultural issues in the Habsburg Monarchy and its Eastern European successor states in the 19th and 20th centuries.
