The volume presents the most important key moments of the common German-Czech(oslovak) history for a broad audience. These "turning points" do not reduce history to individual moments of political history. In each case, the contributions encompass the historical context of the events and understand them as milestones of the common history of Central Europe, which can only be viewed in the context of the history of the now largely united continent.
